In ancient Hebrew Cosmology the sky was a dome over the earth and it was full of water. This photo of a rainbow seems to draw that picture – the image has not been doctored the solid blue on the top of the picture is exactly as captured although the people have been cropped out of the original image; which is at www.flickr.com/photos/feargal/2874439379/
